Photo 124: Mongolian Barbecue
Mongolian barbecue offers a free bowl to people on, or within a week of their birthday if you are on their mailing list. Since my boyfriend’s was on saturday, we went yesterday. I was able to take a few shots of the food while it was on the grill.
Photo 120: Choco-Peanut Butter Cookies
My boyfriend has a love of peanut butter. A rather large one. So I started making these choco-peanut butter cookies as a sort chocolate peanut butter compromise. They are just a super soft variation on a more traditional peanut butter cookie. He likes them way more than I do, but that is fine with me.
Photo 97: Cupcakes!
I made some Irish Coffee cupcakes last night. I have been wanting to make them for a few weeks now, but just had the time to do it last night. They turned out all right, though maybe not quite what I had in mind. Either way, I thought they would be good for the daily photo.
Photo 90: Ice Cream
Did I make the sundae to take the photo? Or did I take the photo to eat the sundae? The world may never know.
Photo 86: Mediterranean Deliciousness
We had a really nice evening. We went to a local Mediterranean restaurant. The prices were really reasonable, but the food was lovely and delicious. My boyfriend made himself a very handsome plate and I was able to get a good shot of it.
Photo 47: Mighty Good Cups
We found a new cafe this weekend. They are amazing. They make their espresso with loving care, and use amazingly fresh milk. Their drinks are delicious. The staff is nice. Everything is great. The only real downside is that they close fairly early, so we only really be able to go on the weekend.
Picture 8: Stuffed Bread
My boyfriend and like to put off grocery shopping until the las possible moment. So it is not unusual for us to run to the grocery store after I get off of work. But it paid off today, my mom had sent me a recipe for this stuffed bread! And my boyfriend did a great job executing it. Look at how delicious it looks! It was that good!
